The Fox Group is proud to announce a new partnership with Thornton Cleveleys Football Club, becoming the official naming rights partner of the club’s Gamble Road ground in an initial two-year agreement.
As part of the partnership, the stadium will be renamed The Fox Group Sports Arena, marking an exciting new chapter for both organisations and reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting the local community and investing in the future of grassroots sport.
With deep roots in the Thornton area, The Fox Group is delighted to strengthen its connection with the community through a partnership that will support the continued development of one of the Fylde Coast’s most ambitious football clubs.
The agreement reflects The Fox Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting local initiatives and organisations that make a positive impact across the region. As the business continues to grow, it remains dedicated to investing in the communities where its story began.
Steve Ainsworth, Head of Asset Management at The Fox Group, said:
“Fox Group’s story began in Thornton, and our roots in the local area remain an important part of who we are today. This partnership therefore has real significance for us. It is particularly meaningful to be able to support a local football club that plays such an important role in the community.
Thornton Cleveleys FC has clear ambitions for the future and a strong commitment to developing opportunities for local people through sport. As Fox Group continues to grow, we want to remain connected to the area where our story began, and we look forward to supporting the club throughout the coming seasons.”
The naming rights agreement forms part of a wider sponsorship package that will also see The Fox Group become shirt sponsor of the Thornton Cleveleys FC Men’s First Team, who compete in the North West Counties League Division One North.
Tom Coleman, Commercial Manager at Thornton Cleveleys FC, added:
“We are thrilled to announce The Fox Group as our first official ground naming rights partner. When we floated the idea internally earlier this year, The Fox Group were exactly the type of organisation we had in mind due to their historic links to the Thornton Cleveleys area through the Fox family and their continued work in the development of the Fylde Coast through several ongoing local projects.
As a keen supporter of community projects in the region, we are absolutely delighted that they have chosen to go on this path with us and support the further development of Thornton Cleveleys Football Club.”
The partnership represents another important milestone in The Fox Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and creating lasting positive impact across Lancashire and the Fylde Coast.
