Our mission is to make the case for local roads through collaboration, innovation, skills and net zero for the highways community and our members.
A community interest company, accredited to ISO 44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to give back, promoting collaboration that will ultimately see improved highway services, maintained to a standard that road users expect and deserve.
I contacted LCRIG to ask for assistance from other council members.The speed at which I received the information was fantastic we had two responses within three hours from two other councils and a third within 24 hours. This saved me a great deal of time and I would highly recommend this service provided by LCRIG.

Via the active communications of LCRIG with Academia, Road, Highways, and Pavement Engineering industry, I managed to engage Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) as a member of LCRIG. Within few months of this LCRIG/LJMU collaborations, and as an academic research leader, I found myself communicating with different experts’ members of LCRIG working in; small, medium and large companies/institutions and research centres. The outstanding benefits of LJMU being a member of LCRIG was topped up by LCRIG providing me and my research teams with unlimited help and support. Moreover, and most important, myself and my research team are now sharing with the said above industrial partners their experience & participating in real practical problems solving!
