We are delighted to announce WJ Group as Festival Partner for the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival 2027, marking a special year for the company as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.
As a longstanding supporter of LCRIG, WJ Group’s partnership reflects its continued commitment to innovation, collaboration and driving progress across the highways sector.
The LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival has already received an incredible response, with strong demand since bookings opened. As Festival Partner, WJ Group will play a key role in supporting the event and helping LCRIG continue to provide fully funded places for public sector delegates, ensuring local authorities can access the latest innovations, share knowledge and connect with industry experts.
With a commitment to challenging convention and finding better ways of working, WJ Group has spent four decades helping to shape the road marking industry. Its continued focus on innovation makes it a natural partner for a Festival dedicated to showcasing new ideas, encouraging collaboration and advancing highways and transport technology.
Wayne Johnston, WJ Group Founder, said:
“We’re really proud to be the headline sponsor of next year’s LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival, especially as it comes in the year we celebrate our 40th anniversary.
“When I started the business, I wanted to do things differently and find better ways of working. As we’ve grown, we’ve kept that mindset at the heart of what we do, and over the past 40 years we’ve helped change the way road markings are installed. There’s still plenty more we want to achieve, and my ambition is that, by the time I finish my career, the industry will have moved on even further.
“The Festival is a great opportunity for us to share some of the innovations we’ve brought to the industry over the years, but also to see and celebrate the new ideas coming from across the highways community. It’s become an event that’s known for bringing people together, encouraging collaboration and giving new ideas a platform.
“For us, it’s a brilliant way to celebrate 40 years in business while also looking ahead to the innovations that will help move our industry forward.”
Charlotte Bromley, Head of Events at LCRIG, added:
“WJ Group has been a longstanding supporter of LCRIG, and we’re delighted to have them on board as Festival Partner for our 2027 Innovation & Learning Festival. With the event coinciding with their 40th anniversary, it’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate their achievements and recognise their continued contribution to the highways sector.
“We look forward to celebrating this important milestone with the WJ Group team and working together to make the 2027 Festival another valuable opportunity for the highways community.”
