FUTTEC is a Czech manufacturer of patented microwave-based asphalt repair technology, integrating the FT-3 patcher and FF-9 furnaces into one truck- or trailer-mounted system. The method delivers fast, permanent pothole repairs by homogeneously heating asphalt and merging it seamlessly with new hot-mix material, without cutting out surrounding pavement. Use of hot mix in bags means no material waste, while the durable, watertight bond eliminates repeat repairs, cutting the emissions and disruption of recurring roadworks. The system is operational since 2020 with 28,000+ repairs on Czech roads.
