Event Date: 12/09/2025

Supporting Members: Enhancing the Value of LCRIG Membership

LCRIG’s community now brings together more than 390 members – including government, local authorities, national organisations, supply chain partners, academia, and associations. At the heart of this network are our council members. As we continue to grow, our commitment to councils remains steadfast: to keep you connected, informed, and equipped with the insights you need to tackle sector challenges and deliver better outcomes locally.

To strengthen this commitment, we introduced quarterly live Member drop-in sessions – exclusive to LCRIG members. Having now successfully run several times, these sessions are proving to be a valuable space for councils to engage, learn, and share experiences.

About the Drop-In Sessions

Hosted by our Relationship Manager, Keely Metcalfe, these interactive sessions offer a dedicated platform to:

✔ Stay up to date with the latest news, events, and key initiatives to help you maximise your membership benefits.

✔ Engage in meaningful discussions with fellow LCRIG members and industry professionals.

✔ Hear directly from LCRIG CEO, Paula Claytonsmith, as she shares insights on policy developments and sector trends.

Topics Covered in our September Drop-In:

Policy Insights: Update from Paula Claytonsmith on key policy matters, including:

  • Changes to the Code of Practice
  • The DfT Transparency Working Group – Are you ready for October Transparency Reporting?

Sector Insights: We explored current challenges and opportunities facing councils, shared the latest sector updates and trends, and provided progress on the AI Mini Guide Series and the LCRIG Innovation Report.

Quarterly Progress Update: We reflected on recent key activities and outcomes from the past quarter.

Upcoming Events and Initiatives: We provided a preview of what’s on the horizon in the LCRIG calendar, including upcoming events and webinars, and the latest on Strictly Highways 2025.

Member FAQs and Queries: We provided an open forum to address council members’ most frequently asked questions and provide a space for any additional queries or feedback.
