Richard McKenna is Technical Manager and Sustainability Champion at Traffic Management Products Ltd, a UK manufacturer of road safety products. Since joining TMP in 2017, Richard has been at the forefront of rethinking how signage, traffic bollards, and street furniture are designed, made, and recycled.
Known for turning technical challenges into practical solutions, Richard has led projects that have cut carbon, reduced manual handling risks for operatives, and brought circular economy thinking into everyday highways work. Whether it is launching the plant-based NonCrete™ bollard or rolling out TMP’s national bollard recycling scheme, Richard combines on-the-ground insight with a clear vision for more sustainable highways.
