Now in its 4th year, Managing Skid Resistance UK – The Facts and the Friction – took place on 13th May in Gloucester.
The event provided local authorities and other road operators with insight into how to better manage skid resistance and understand how this can be successful delivered as part of a more proactive maintenance strategy.
With road operators facing several challenges, including declining budgets, the conference asked how local authorities can deliver maintenance programmes more effectively in a way that encompasses the full armoury of surface treatments and techniques at their disposal.
The one-day conference was organised by the RSTA, in association with W.D.M. and WJ Group.
