Over recent weeks the TAC-GRID team have been carrying out installations in Bolton on the Manchester Road /Trinity St / Lower Bridgeman St junction improvement.
The junction is extremely busy all day and the team were able to complete the works in horrendous weather conditions without having to close any of the junction off with costly TM. We used our own traffic management system to section crossings off one at a time, this allowed for the traffic to continue to flow freely and keep disruption to a minimum.
As you can see from the images, the crossings look great the vibrant colours stand out from the grey surface making it easier for pedestrians to identify and also for the visually impaired to distinguish the crossing type.
