LCRIG appoints new Relationship Manager

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) has appointed Keely Metcalfe as its new Relationship Manager.

Keely previously worked at the railway pension company, Railpen. Her responsibilities were to liaise with employers to maintain and update member records. Support them with processing transactions and answering any queries they had. She was the main point of contact for 5 railway companies.

Commenting on her appointment, Keely said: “I recently attended LCRIG’s Strictly Highways Conference in Blackpool. The event gave me a real insight into the opportunities that are available to young people entering the highways sector and it was exciting to see how enthusiastic and passionate everyone attending was about the industry.

After the event, I was offered an opportunity to join the LCRIG team and I decided to follow in my dad’s footsteps and embark on a career in highways.

My previous experience in customer service and account management will assist me in this new role and I am really looking forward to getting to know our members and supporting them.”

Susanne Ingham, Secretariat at LCRIG said: “We are delighted to welcome Keely onboard. Following her attendance at Strictly Highways in a support capacity, it became evident that Keely would be a great asset to LCRIG. The organisation has grown significantly over the last year and we now have over 100 council members and 130 associate members. Keely’s appointment will allow us to further support our members as we continue to grow.”
