The event brought together the whole highways community, including councils, the Department for Transport (DfT), academia, industry associations, the supply chain and media. It enabled delegates to learn about new innovations and technology, share experiences and receive updates from the DfT.
The theme for the event was centred around ‘Making the case for local roads’ and delegates were given the opportunity to learn something new, refresh existing knowledge, improve skills, and keep up to date with the latest developments in the highways sector.
The event took place at the iconic Winter Gardens, Blackpool from 05 – 06 October 2022 with more than 70 different local highway authorities and over 370 delegates in attendance.
The video highlights the range of presentations, awards, networking and interaction that took place over the two days. In addition, it also captures the wide range of exhibitors that were showcased in the Ballroom and networking areas as well as the live panel debates that took place.
