Procurement webinar available to watch on demand

LCRIG’s webinar entitled ‘Delivering innovation through collaborative procurement’ is now available to watch on demand.

First aired on 1 October, the webinar is hosted by LCRIG content director Alec Peachey and features a panel of experts and industry figures: Ian Large, Performance Manager at Blackpool Council; Martin Duffy, Chief Executive of LCRIG; Darren Capes, ITS Policy Lead, Traffic and Technology Division, Department for Transport; and Andrea Fitzgerald, Regional Head Business Management London & South East, Crown Commercial Service.

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) joined forces with the Transport Technology Forum (TTF) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to deliver the event, which was the first in a series of webinars designed to facilitate fresh thinking in the sector.

The conversation covered the likes of procurement challenges faced by local authorities, how to make contracts more accessible to SMEs, funding challenges, harnessing innovation and what the future of procurement might look like.
