This week, the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) welcomed Ariaconsult Limited as an Associate Member.
Ariaconsult Ltd are a Strategic Business Development Consultancy supporting leaders align strategy, business development, and work winning.
Des Bourne, Director at Ariaconsult Ltd said: “I wanted to make a statement about our future direction as we celebrate the beginning of our third year as a business. I was thinking of ways to simultaneously celebrate, show our progress to this point in the road and enhance our credibility with other highways people.
Seventy-five per cent of our work comes from referrals and recommendations. LCRIG has created a real buzz in the highways community in the opinion of Des Bourne, the owner and driving force behind Ariaconsult Limited. With many people I know and trust speaking positively about LCRIG involvement, it was a no-brainer to pursue membership to celebrate the milestone and our success.
I use the Bourne Identity to help our clients gain a longer-term focus on planning and delivering success by leaving nothing to chance. We create a winning strategy based on competitive advantage and client perspective. LCRIG organisations and individuals like to facilitate fresh thinking, and we want to share ideas and continue to learn from like-minded people. Our insight helps people see how a short-term uninformed approach drastically reduces the chances of success and leads to an expensive and avoidable last-minute mindset.
I have been ambitious for years to turn my passion, energy and skill into a business. I am so proud of Ariaconsult Limited’s success and excited that LCRIG has approved our application to join the collaborative community. Since we announced our associate membership on LinkedIn, I have been thrilled with the positive response from clients, friends and contacts.
LCRIG offers a micro business like mine a fantastic chance to gather and share intelligence, learn and add value through its unique innovation and collaboration platforms. While proactively contributing to national and regional working groups.
I will use virtual and live events to meet and engage with the community of public and private sector highway industry professionals who attend and participate. I hope the Bourne Trilogy of strategy, business development, and work-winning diversity become synonymous with improving highway services for all these people. Communication, engagement, relationship building and collaboration are essential but often neglected elements of winning. LCRIG is a fantastic platform for me and my business to achieve this. I look forward to the next three years for Ariaconsult and LCRIG members.”
