EV Charging Infrastructure: Local Authority Challenges, Solutions and Lessons Learned

Event Date: 30/09/2026

Are you delivering EV charging infrastructure and facing challenges around implementation, commercial models, cross-pavement charging, community charging or LEVI delivery?

The TTF EVCI Working Group is hosting a webinar designed around the practical issues local authorities are dealing with now.

Local authority representatives will share real examples of the challenges they have encountered, how they have approached them, what has worked, what they would do differently, and importantly, the issues they are still trying to resolve.

This will not be a presentation-heavy webinar. It will be an interactive, discussion-led session where local authorities can compare approaches, hear directly from their peers and bring their own questions and delivery challenges to the discussion. There will also be dedicated time for audience questions and wider discussion.

Time: 11am – 12pm

Date: Wednesday, 30th September 2026

Location: Teams Webinars

Topics will include:

  • Cross-pavement charging and gully solutions
  • Community charging
  • Commercial and delivery models
  • LEVI delivery experiences
  • Public charging infrastructure challenges
  • Practical lessons from implementation

If you are involved in planning, procuring, delivering or managing EV charging infrastructure within a local authority, this is an opportunity to hear what other authorities are doing, share your own experience and discuss some of the common challenges facing EVCI delivery.
