We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sunil Budhdeo to the LCRIG Innovation Board.
Sunil Budhdeo is the Transport Innovation Manager at Coventry City Council, where he leads the development and delivery of cutting-edge mobility and smart city initiatives. His work focuses on emerging transport technologies including connected and automated mobility, drone applications, and digital infrastructure.
Working closely with industry, government and academia, Sunil has played a key role in trialling and scaling innovation that supports decarbonisation, network efficiency and improved public services. He has extensive experience delivering complex projects and enabling collaboration across local authorities and technology partners.
Commenting on his appointment, Sunil said:
“I’m delighted to join the LCRIG Innovation Board and contribute to strengthening collaboration across the highways and transport sector. I’m particularly keen to support the practical adoption of innovative technologies that deliver real-world benefits for local authorities and communities.”
