This week, we are delighted to welcome TD Construction Testing and London Borough of Harrow as the newest members of the ever-growing LCRIG community.
TD Construction Testing is an independent materials testing laboratory, UKAS accredited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017. It carries out a range of testing for the civil engineering and construction industry, both in its laboratory and on site across the UK.
Darren Ames, Managing Director at TD Construction Testing, said:
“We’re delighted to be joining LCRIG as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting innovation and best practice across the highways sector.
“At TD, we see this membership as a valuable opportunity to collaborate with local authorities and industry partners, share knowledge, and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and standards. We look forward to contributing our expertise while gaining insights that will help us continue delivering high-quality, reliable testing services to support safer and more resilient road networks.”
London Borough of Harrow is the local authority for one of London’s most diverse boroughs, serving over 250,000 residents. It delivers essential services including housing, social care, education, highways, environmental services and community safety. Its focus is on putting residents first, keeping the borough clean and safe, and supporting those most in need.
Poonam Pathak, Strategic Head of Traffic, Highways and Asset Management at London Borough of Harrow, said:
“Harrow Council is committed to delivering safe, sustainable and high‑quality highways and transport services for our residents. By joining LCRIG, we aim to collaborate more closely with sector experts, share innovation, and strengthen our ability to deliver efficient, resilient infrastructure. Membership will help us access new technical insights, best practice, and opportunities to improve service delivery for our community.
“These priorities reflect Harrow’s commitment to improving local outcomes and maintaining high standards of public service.”
