CMA Calls for Views from Local Authority Personnel Involved in Road Infrastructure Projects

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched a market study into civil engineering, focusing on how publicly funded road and rail infrastructure is designed, planned and delivered across the UK.

The CMA is particularly keen to hear from local authority individuals involved in scoping, procuring, contracting and managing road infrastructure projects. Your insights will help them understand how the market works in practice, identify any challenges and explore ways the market could work better.

Please take a short time to complete a questionnaire about your experience. It is mainly multiple-choice questions and is designed to be easy to complete.

Your input will play a vital role in shaping the CMA’s study and helping to improve outcomes for people, businesses and the UK economy.

Deadline: 5pm on 17 October 2025.
