Join AECOM’s National Traffic Control Engineering Lead, Mark Stapley, on 11 September from 12:00-13:00, for an online presentation in collaboration with Midlands Highway Alliance Plus: Developing a Bus Biased Corridor – exploring how traffic management and control strategies can transform bus travel.
Investment in bus priority infrastructure has undergone a recent renaissance, with funding from a variety of sources at both City Region and local authority level.
In this session, Mark will share AECOM’s holistic approach, based on LTN 1/24 – Bus User Priority, covering:
- Route audit and constraints evaluation
- Identification of potential solutions, including technological based interventions
- Solution selection, considering cost, time & environmental impacts
The presentation will also showcase a working example to illustrate the approach.
