Core Highways has launched the first-ever Traffic Management Virtual Work Experience, which is now available on SpringPod. The pilot programme, running from June to 31st August 2025, is funded by the Careers Enterprise Company to provide young people with valuable insights into the Traffic Management sector.
Why This Programme?
Core Highways, in partnership with Devon, Plymouth & Torbay Careers Hub and SpringPod, has developed this initiative to inspire the next generation to explore careers in Traffic Management – a field that plays a vital role in keeping roads safe and communities moving.
What Participants Will Gain
Through this virtual experience, young people will:
- Learn about the history and future of the highways industry
- Explore key roles, including Traffic Management Operative and CAD Planner
- Take part in hands-on activities designed by industry professionals at Core Highways
