The Meon Live EXPO 2024 was a showcase of innovation, collaboration and hands-on experiences that left a lasting impact on the line marking and surface repair industries.

Another exciting highlight was the presentation of a brand-new water-applied pothole repair solution. This product offers fast and efficient permanent pothole repair in any weather conditions, drawing significant interest for its potential to streamline and enhance pothole repair processes.

- Jonathan Munslow, Past President of LGTAG, discussed innovations in safety and technology across various sectors, including Mass-transit and Highways and how they are collaborating to enhance safety standards and technology.
- Sean Rooney, LGTAG President & Head of Service – Highway Maintenance at Oxfordshire County Council, highlighted the transformation of research into practical applications and its real-world impact on highway maintenance.
- Alan Rainford, Past Head of NEC4 Contracts & Civil Engineering at Virgin Media, explored the role of utilities in street works and innovative methods for tackling challenges within utility infrastructure projects.
- Cameron Simms, Managing Director at Wilson & Scott (Highways) Ltd, shared insights on real-world collaborative approaches in supply chain innovation to ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Russell Smallridge, Meon’s very own Head of Decarbonisation, presented a high-profile case study on decarbonisation efforts, featuring the new ‘RoadLiner 570’ as a real-life example of bringing innovation to life.
