Witness Innovation in Action: Introducing our Demonstration Partners – Part Two

Excitement is building as we approach next week’s highly anticipated Innovation & Learning Festival. This week, we introduce more of our Demonstration Partners who will be showcasing their transformative products, solutions, and techniques on our unique off-road track.

Introducing our Demonstration Partners

Robotiz3d

Witness the world’s first autonomous pothole repair system in action. See ARRES PREVENT, a first of its kind robot that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a unique prediction algorithm to detect and seal road surface cracks, preventing potholes from forming. Discover how this ground breaking technology analyses pothole geometry, collects measurement data, and helps predict road conditions accurately, prioritising preventative road maintenance to save time, money and reduce disruptions for road users.

Lisa Layzell, Co-Founder and CEO at Robotiz3d says: “The LCRIG Innovation and Learning Festival is a unique platform to showcase our innovative work and connect with a diverse and engaged audience. We invite everyone to join us and witness first hand the future of innovation, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and be inspired by the potential of what we can achieve together.”

Transport for West Midlands and Ohmio

See the cutting-edge Ohmio Lift autonomous shuttle bus in action. Watch as the bus navigates a pre-recorded route with precision, demonstrating its ability to detect and respond to obstacles, ensure passenger safety, and operate seamlessly in slow moving traffic. Discover how the technology is paving the way for smarter, safer, and more efficient transportation, enhancing public transportation efficiency, reducing traffic congestion, and promoting sustainable urban mobility solutions.

Ian Pulford, Chief Executive Officer at Smart City Consultancy said: “Ohmio are really excited to be demonstrating our Level 4 self-driving vehicle at the LCRIG event this year. Working closely with local councils to understand the nature of their transport issues is a priority for our business, making sure that as we continually develop the vehicle and systems we deliver a product that can truly solve the congestion and air quality problems experienced by so many local authorities. We’re confident that by introducing these vehicles to fill existing gaps in towns and cities public transport systems that new, appealing and cost effective transport links can be installed to serve residents.

“Initially working closely with Milton Keynes CC, Solihull MBC and Coventry CC as partners in funded Department for Transport innovation projects is meaning that we’re able to rapidly develop all aspects of our UK offer and are excited by the forward progress being made.”

KOREC

Step into the future of drone technology as KOREC demonstrate the latest cutting-edge drones transforming the way local authorities capture information and insights.  Witness the innovative WingtraOne Generation II vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone in action, designed for high detail imagery and LIDAR capture. Explore the advanced Parrot Anafi AI 4G quadcopter survey drone, designed for smaller areas, and discover the Trimble Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver, a lightweight, Bluetooth-enabled GPS unit offering 1cm accuracy at a fraction of the cost of other solutions. This state-of-the-art technology is reshaping data collection and analysis for local authorities.
