The webinar, which is taking place at 11:00am on 10 July, will explore how the latest generation chemical analyser is being used to detect coal tar and how bitumen degradation can be assessed in the effective management or coal tar waste driven by bitumen, either in a laboratory or in a van on the side of the road.
The webinar will be delivered by Colin Green, Managing Director at QROS. Colin’s extensive experience in the design and production of several rapid measurement technologies for environmental applications, coupled with with many years’ experience working in a commercial environmental laboratory brings together a unique skill set and understanding of chemical analysis in the environmental industry.

The QED analyser can identify coal tar even when mixed with bitumen and give confidence that road binder is being correctly characterised for waste acceptance purposes.
