The Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) is delighted to welcome Winvic Construction Ltd, BakerHicks and University of Birmingham as our latest Members.

Winvic Construction Ltd is a main contractor specialising in turnkey solutions for industrial, build-to-rent, student accommodation and civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Rob Cook, Director – Civils & Infrastructure at Winvic Construction Ltd said: “Winvic is delighted to join LCRIG which will support our strategic aim of developing close working relationships with new and existing public sector clients. We have a proud track record of delivering medium to large civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. BakerHicks is a design, engineering and project delivery company, specialising in complex infrastructure, process and built environments across the full project life cycle.

University of Birmingham is a public research university, that is part of the Russell Group.
Dr Suzanne Bartington at University of Birmingham said: “As a research network which focuses on delivering policy relevant research, our LCRIG membership will provide an opportunity to share transport focussed knowledge and tools with local authorities across the UK”.
LCRIG provides Members with a unique platform to engage with councils, the DfT and the wider highways community.

Fully-funded places are available for public sector members, and discounted rates are available for private sector members at LCRIG events.
LCRIG has four membership types:
Local highway authorities and ‘Teckal’ organisations.
Organisations providing products or services to the highways sector.
Government and professional bodies, associations, working/research groups.
Universities and academic research organisations.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), accredited to ISO44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to ‘give back to the community’ and we are not for profit.
