Earlier this year Meon introduced a new asphalt repair product to the highways industry – MAGMA PermaFyx L273, a game-changing product offering a permanent and fully cold applied alternative system to traditional hot applied asphalt repair methods.
There are many standout features to PermaFyx L273, it is a stronger, fantastic alternative to hot lay bitumen, being ready to apply after 2 minutes of mixing and is made up of MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) cold plastic technology not requiring any hot works.
Additionally, it can be applied in narrow or hard to reach areas due to requiring absolutely zero compaction, reducing the chance of HAVS (Hand-arm vibration syndrome) and setting permanently in a rapid 30 minutes traffic time.
Since the launch of their innovation, Meon had experienced lots of discussion on social media regarding the the strength of their new cold lay material.
Meon noticed mixed responses to their innovation. There was a great deal of comparison to other generic cold lay asphalt repair products, and a general misunderstanding of this specialist permanent product. Overall, there was a great deal of assumption around the strength and durability of this new to market innovation.
