Taking place on the evening of 7 October 2026 at the iconic Winter Gardens in Blackpool, the awards form a key part of the Strictly Highways event programme, celebrating organisations and individuals who have gone above to make a positive impact.
Established by the late Steve Berry OBE, former Head of Highways Maintenance, Innovation and Resilience at the Department for Transport, the awards continue to honour his legacy by recognising achievement, championing innovation and inspiring progress across the sector.

Highways Apprentice of the Year Award

This award celebrates outstanding apprentices who have made significant contributions and a positive impact on their course, workplace or the wider highways sector during their apprenticeship.
