Next week’s Innovation and Learning Festival is set to be the biggest and best yet, with record-breaking attendance from local authorities across the UK. More than 320 attendees from over 90 local authorities have registered, sending senior decision makers and representatives from England, Scotland, Wales and North Ireland.
In addition to this strong local authority presence, the event has also attracted an unprecedented number of delegates from the wider public sector, including representatives from the Department for Transport, National Highways, the Welsh Government, and the Ministry of Defence.
The Department for Transport will have a significant presence with six teams attending and participating in both the indoor exhibition hall and the Technical Learning Theatre. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest updates on the new road condition monitoring data standard ‘PAS 2161: Implementing the New Standard for Road Condition Monitoring’, as well as the DfT Special Recognition Apprentice Awards.
National Highways will also be on hand to showcase a range of exciting new technologies, including CEO-matic – a tool designed to raise awareness of deep fake fraud and build resilience against this growing threat.
The event is supported by a host of association partners, including the IHE, RSTA, RSMA, ARTSM, TOPAS and, Primary Engineer.
