LCRIG Innovation and Learning Festival 2025: Why you should join us!

The LCRIG Innovation and Learning Festival is set for July 2025 at Stoneleigh NAEC, bringing together industry leaders focused on highways maintenance and transport technology. This interactive event, now in its 4th year, features live demonstrations, CPD technical training, workshops, networking opportunities, and a comprehensive exhibition with over 100 exhibitors.

Key highlights for 2025 include:

  • Increased Accessibility: We are doubling fully funded places for public sector attendees and reserving 350 hotel rooms for local authorities. Fully funded places cover accommodation and travel to and from the venue, meals and refreshments.
Live Demonstrations: Showcasing the latest in highways maintenance and transport technology. The 2024 festival included a wide range of innovations from advanced line-marking, ironwork reinstatement solutions, and the Pothole Pro, right through to autonomous pothole-filling systems, driverless buses, robots and drones. We can’t wait to share what’s in store for 2025!
  • CPD-Certified Training: Training sessions delivered by sponsors and exhibitors cover diverse topics, ranging from asphalt preservation, pavement recycling and geosynthetics through to AI, connected vehicles, lifecycle monitoring and UAV drone mapping.
  • Networking Opportunities: No other event matches our strategic balance of attendees, ensuring purposeful networking and meaningful engagement. Connect with public sector leaders, procurement heads, and decision-makers across highways maintenance and transport technology.
  • Start-Up Zone: A dedicated area for emerging businesses to present innovative solutions to the sector.

New Features for 2025:

  • We’ll be bringing even more cutting-edge technologies to the festival and creating additional fully funded places for public sector delegates working in transport technology.
  • Department for Transport Focus Sessions and Procurement Drop-Ins are an exciting addition to next year’s festival and we’ll be sharing more information very soon!

A key highlight for 2025 are the DfT Special Recognition Apprentice Awards, honouring young talent in the sector. With fully funded places available for both public and private sector apprentices, we are making it easier for young professionals working in highways maintenance and transport technology to participate and connect with industry leaders.
