This week, the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) welcomed two new Associate Members to the LCRIG community.
Proteus Equipment has been supplying equipment for the road surfacing industry since 1985, and is now the leading supplier of asphalt Hot Boxes, asphalt duvets, and environmentally-friendly fluids. Proteus Equipment also sell concrete duvets for various insulation applications, and a wide range of manhole covers lifters designed to lift covers quickly and safely.

LCRIG has four membership types:
Local highway authorities and ‘Teckal’ organisations.
Organisations providing products or services to the highways sector.
Government and professional bodies, associations, working/research groups.
Universities and academic research organisations.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), accredited to ISO44001, the international standard for collaboration, LCRIG’s purpose is to ‘give back to the community’ and we are not for profit.
