Driving safety by driving efficiency

This week, Hooke Highways welcomed its first batch of new traffic management specification vehicles, which forms Stage 1 of their Fleet Renewal Programme.
Working closely with Enterprise and VFS, Hooke Highways played an integral part in the design and build of the Traffic Management vehicles to help shape the future of traffic management. This further signifies Hooke Highway’s determination to lower the carbon footprint across their fleet, by running some of the most modern, fuel efficient vehicles available.
The introduction of modern vehicles also forms part of Hooke Highway’s Low Carbon Strategy, which encompasses their continued aim to introduce the most advanced technology, in order to proactively serve their network of customers, whilst reducing their overall environmental impact. This is continually reviewed and is instrumental in maintaining ISO 14001 accreditation.
