An initiative launched by Westcotec at the start of this year is proving popular as a way of focusing attention on the company’s wide range of safety and information signs.
Each month, Westcotec publishes its ‘Sign of the Times’ case study in which one of its signs is placed in the spotlight, with an explanation of the background to its installation and the subsequent measures of its success.
The year kicked off with a look at a vehicle activated junction warning sign in Durham, which since its installation in 2017 has eliminated injury collisions on approaches to the junction. This was followed in February with details of a new air quality monitor trialled and then purchased by a major retailer for its head office premises near Leicester.
Westcotec Head of Sales Olly Samways commented: “Reaction to ‘Sign of the Times’ has been very positive. We have effectively created an opportunity to showcase the wide range of signs we manufacture, as well as explaining the purpose of their installation and how they have delivered against customer expectations. We are committed to continuing the initiative, and will be sharing all kinds of sign stories in the months to come.”
