Join us for this upcoming session, hosted in collaboration with Causeway.
The DfT has confirmed the Incentive Fund requirements for 2026 to 2027, and for local highway authorities, the funding implications are significant. Local highway authorities must now publish a transparency report, demonstrate long-term asset management planning, show full spend of their DfT allocation, and evidence a commitment to preventative maintenance, or risk losing part of their funding allocation.
This practical session will provide clarity on what the requirements mean in practice, explore what higher-performing authorities are doing differently, and demonstrate how the right data, reporting and planning tools can help authorities prepare effectively.
Led by Causeway’s highways consultancy team, the webinar will showcase real examples from authorities already using structured asset management planning and reporting to strengthen their position.
Time: 11AM
Date: 7th July 2026
Location: Teams Webinars
Attendees will see how CausewayOne Asset Management, including new Power BI reporting, supports transparency report preparation, and how CausewayOne brings operational, strategic and network management tools together to break down silos and centralise the data needed for reporting. With transparency report guidance now published, this session comes at exactly the right moment – giving authorities the clarity and tools they need ahead of their submission.
Learning Outcomes
- A clear understanding of the four 2026–27 Incentive Fund requirements and how to demonstrate compliance.
- Real examples from authorities using structured asset management planning and data to clearly evidence their position – including how common issues like reactive maintenance and pothole management link directly to RAG ratings and funding outcomes.
- A look at how CausewayOne Asset Management, including new Power BI reporting capabilities, can help authorities surface the right data, evidence their approach, and get ahead of the requirements.
- A practical look at CausewayOne – how bringing operational, strategic and network management tools together in one platform helps authorities move away from siloed working and have the right data in one place to meet their reporting obligations.
Who Should Attend?
This webinar is designed for heads of highways, asset managers, and senior officers within English local highway authorities who are responsible for highways maintenance planning, asset management strategy, or reporting. It will be particularly relevant for authorities that have received their RAG ratings and are now considering what action to take, or those preparing their transparency report.
