Registration is open for this foremost event for traffic signing professionals supported by the Department for Transport (DfT).
For 2026 the Traffic Signs Conference & Exhibition returns to central Birmingham on Tuesday 24th March at the Unique Venue of Birmingham.
‘Signs of Progress’ is the theme for this year. The Department for Transport (DfT) are supporting the event as they have done since its inception. Join leading voices from government, local authorities, and industry as they explore the future of traffic signing, road markings, and sustainable transport infrastructure.
The conference will explore a wide range of current and emerging issues in traffic signing and road markings. Sessions will cover how technology is reshaping the way signs are designed, deployed, and managed, along with the latest updates and policy developments from the Department for Transport.
Delegates will hear about approaches to signing for electric vehicle charging, innovations in road marking sustainability, and the adaptation of signing to support smarter, more flexible kerbside management through virtual loading bays.
The programme will also highlight opportunities for professional growth through IHE qualifications and training, as well as provide updates on level crossing signing and recent changes in Wales.
