With a highways career spanning more than 30 years, Susanne, Relationship Director at LCRIG, truly embodies Michael Conway’s legacy of great people and great work. Through her dedication, LCRIG has delivered industry-leading events, championed innovation, and opened up exciting new opportunities for collaboration and learning, providing public sector fully funded places and support valued at over £1million to the sector. She is deeply committed to people – mentoring future leaders, supporting SMEs, and building trusted relationships with local authorities and national bodies.
What sets Susanne apart is her empathy, integrity, and unwavering sense of purpose. The initiatives she leads consistently deliver real value, from skills development and apprenticeships to charitable campaigns.
The heartfelt support for Susanne’s nomination from across both the public and private sector and the cheers she received on the night are a testament to how respected, admired, and genuinely loved she is by colleagues and the wider highways community alike.
