We’re excited to announce the pioneering start-ups selected to showcase their innovations in the 2025 Start-Up Zone at the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival.
Following a fantastic response to our call for applications, twelve emerging businesses have been selected to join the fully funded Start-Up Zone – part of LCRIG’s commitment to champion innovation across the highways and transport technology sector. From intelligent infrastructure and predictive maintenance, to kerbside EV charging and long-lasting pothole repairs, each start-up brings a fresh perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

Who’s Exhibiting in the Start-Up Zone?
These forward-thinking companies will be showcasing their innovations at the festival on 2–3 July 2025:
AIM Group – World-first AI Predictive Structural Health Monitoring platform, across bridges, rail, and tunnels.
A.S Safety and Technology Limited – Developer of InflatorShield, an inflatable incursion deterrent already trialled on the M25.
Atlas – Predictive Maintenance platform for Highways, using vehicle-mounted sensors and AI to improve asset planning and reduce costs.
Lineway UK Trading Ltd – Road and line marketing paint supplier and sole UK distributor of Luminokrom, a patented ‘glow in the dark’ road marking paint.
Streetwise Technology – Intelligent pedestrian safety systems using AI, sensors, and real-time data to improve safety, accessibility, and operational efficiency across roads.
TDRI Solutions – World-first technology creating a moisture digital twin for road networks to extend asset life and resilience.
UK RoadPatch – Launching a long-lasting pothole repair product with a 5–7 year lifespan.
Urban Kerb Ltd – Sustainable, cost-effective kerb solution made from recycled materials, designed for EV rollout and future transport needs.

The LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival takes place at NAEC Stoneleigh on 2–3 July 2025. It’s the only event of its kind, combining indoor and outdoor exhibitions, live demonstrations, and CPD-certified learning.
