About our New Member
Low Carbon Materials designs and manufactures carbon-negative aggregates – essential components such as crushed stone, sand, and gravel that provide strength and stability to concrete and asphalt. Their innovative, sustainable aggregates seamlessly replace traditional materials in existing production processes, offering a simple and scalable way to reduce the carbon footprint of construction.
By preventing the release of – or permanently removing – carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, LCM’s aggregates serve as a powerful tool in the fight against climate change, supporting a greener future for the sector.

As a growing community of over 350 members consisting of government, local authorities, national organisations, supply chain, academia and associations, LCRIG is actively facilitating positive change and innovation in the highways sector.
