Traffic Management Products Ltd (TMP) recently took part in Brake’s Road Safety Week (17th–23rd November 2024), a nationwide initiative focused on raising awareness about road safety issues and supporting the vital work of Brake, the road safety charity.
Brake’s mission is to prevent road deaths and injuries, support victims of road crashes, and campaign for sustainable, healthy, and safe transport solutions. Through education, advocacy, and practical initiatives, Brake works tirelessly to make roads safer for everyone.
As part of the campaign, TMP embraced the #Brake5Challenge, encouraging the whole team to get active while spreading awareness of the importance of road safety. Throughout the week, team members participated in various 5K activities, including running, cycling, swimming, walking, and dog walking.
The week also featured a baking competition, which saw fantastic participation from across the team. A variety of creative and delicious entries were submitted, from classic favourites to adventurous bakes. After much deliberation, Hayley’s exceptional entry earned the top prize. The bake-off was a brilliant opportunity for the team to come together, have fun, and support the campaign in a unique way.
TMP’s activities highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to road safety, reflecting their role in delivering traffic management innovations. Products such as the Retroreflective Self Righting Bollard (RSRB) exemplify how innovation can improve road safety by ensuring signage remains visible after an impact, reducing risks for all road users.
By supporting Brake’s campaign, TMP demonstrated its alignment with the charity’s goals of making roads safer, supporting crash victims, and advocating for positive change in transportation.
