Rennicks Team Volunteers at Barretstown

Last week, the Rennicks team volunteered for the third consecutive year at the Barretstown facility in County Kildare, a magical place that offers life-changing experiences for children with serious illnesses. The team spent a fantastic day in glorious sunshine, rediscovering and renewing a special path within the Secret Garden. From weeding to digging and hoeing, the team worked tirelessly. Even the Barretstown grounds crew were amazed by the achievement, which was completed with a little help from some local Transition Year students.

Contributing even a small part to the upkeep of this centre, which provides critical support to children with cancer and their families, is a humbling and rewarding experience for the Rennicks team. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a place that brings hope, joy, and healing to children facing serious illness.

Over the past three years, the team’s commitment to Barretstown has grown, and they are proud to be part of its ongoing efforts to provide a safe and supportive space for children and families facing incredibly tough challenges. Rennicks looks forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.

The team extends their gratitude to Barretstown for the incredible work they do and for allowing Rennicks to be a part of their journey.
