The 30th ITS World Congress is taking place from 16th to 20th September in Dubai, and LCRIG is delivering the UK Pavilion on behalf of the Transport Technology Forum.
In six weeks, I’ll be heading out to Dubai with Susanne and Paula as we represent TTF and LCRIG at the Congress. Attending ITS World Congress is a great opportunity both personally and professionally, and LCRIG has certainly come a long way since I joined the team back in 2020, working just one day a week!
One of the objectives for TTF hosting a UK Pavilion at the Congress is to showcase the strength of UK innovation in transport technology, and one of the ways we do this is by sharing space on the UK Pavilion with innovative UK companies. The available spaces have now sold out, and exhibiting alongside TTF are a range of companies showcasing a diverse range of technologies.
I’m really looking forward to spending the week with members of the UK delegation, supporting them during the event and finding out more about their innovative products and solutions. The companies exhibiting as part of the UK Pavilion this year are:
AECOM, AGD Systems, ANGOKA, Aurrigo, Clearview Intelligence, Immense, Intelligent Transport Systems UK, Neology, Nicander, Now Wireless, Starling Technologies, Westcotec and Zenzic.
In preparation for the event, I’ve been working with the British Embassy in Dubai who will be providing trade and export support to the UK companies who are heading out to the Congress with us. There will be lots of other exciting things happening across the week, with a number of events planned that will raise the profile of UK innovation in transport technology. We will be very honoured to host His Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Edward Hobart at a reception on the stand, as we celebrate Birmingham being announced as the preferred host for ITS World Congress 2027.
What’s brilliant about LCRIG delivering the UK Pavilion at ITS World Congress, is that we are able to bring that feeling of community and collaboration that runs through everything we do. The Congress is a great platform to build on existing relationships and make lots of new contacts, with over 20,000 visitors expected across the week. I’m sure the UK Pavilion will be a hub of activity, and I’m excited to be able to support TTF, DfT, Innovate UK and all of the UK companies who will be attending the Congress.
