It’s been my first full week back in January and I already can’t wait for all the things we’ll be doing in 2024 for our members and our TTF work with DfT.
Earlier this week Susanne, Kerry and I spent an extended period of time taking stock of last year and planning our tactical activity for the year ahead. Many of you will have seen our annual report, released just before Christmas, and all the extensive activities that we undertook. If you’ve not seen it, do take a look.
We’ve already released the dates for the major LCRIG Conferences, and this week we released the dates for the hugely popular TTF Conference. We’re introducing an LCRIG App and streamlined process for our events, to benefit our members and provide a better experience. The Innovation Festival, is changing locations this year become the Innovation and Learning Festival. I am already starting to think about our themes for Strictly Highways this year, and reaching out to our regional groups to get their input.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I’ve always been passionate about LCRIG, and the work we do. Having now been the CEO for six months this passion has only grown. Last year, I met and spoke to so many of our members, and this year will be no different – I will still continue to do this. I am committed to ensuring we share more learning and outputs from the Innovation Board, our regional groups and with emerging partnerships in a range of areas I think 2024 will be just as packed and exciting!
Paula Claytonsmith, Chief Executive.
