Ambleside set to receive £100k resurfacing improvements

Westmorland and Furness Highways will resurface 500m of Borrans Road as a part of their wider investment across the council area.

Cllr Peter Thornton, Westmorland and Furness Cabinet Member for Highways and Assets said: “This scheme on Borrans Road in Ambleside is a part of our wider investment in highways resurfacing across the Westmorland and Furness area.

“Smooth, well-maintained roads are the foundation of a thriving community, and this funding reflects our commitment to creating safe highways for all residents and visitors.

“We thank the public for their patience as we complete this work and would like to emphasise that local businesses will remain open throughout the duration of the works.”
