Materials webinar available to watch on demand

The Local Council Roads Innovation Group’s latest webinar: ‘Practical steps on the journey to net zero: The materials challenge’ – is now available to watch on demand.

The event, which took place last Tuesday (7 June 2022), saw panellists discuss how carbon savings can be made across highway and transportation infrastructure with respect to the type of materials used.

Panellists included:

  • Mark Heaton, Programme Leader, Surfacing and Patching at Lincolnshire County Council
  • Paul Boss, Chief Executive of the Road Surface Treatments Association (RSTA).
  • Ken McNeil, Regional Technical Manager, Scotland at Breedon
  • Lila Tachtsi, Director of Asset Management for National Highways

Daniel Morgan, Quarrying and Asphalt Development Director at Colas, facilitated a Q&A session with questions submitted from the audience.
