TotalEnergies has joined the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG) as an associate member.
The company, which has recently changed its name from Total to TotalEnergies, is a broad energy business that produces and markets energies on a global scale: oil and biofuels, natural gas and green gases, renewables and electricity.
Speaking about joining LCRIG, Richard Ashton, Market Development Manager for the company’s Bitumen Division, said: “TotalEnergies are pleased to become members of LCRIG as we believe our core values match those of the group and its objectives. Innovation is a key focus of our business roadmap and sharing best practice in this area is something TotalEnergies are focused on through our ethos of ‘Sustainability Through Durability’. We look forward to sharing our industry leading bitumen technology and helping the sector achieve longer lasting environmentally sustainable highways for the future.”
In tandem with its name change, TotalEnergies has adopted a new visual identity.
Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies, commented: “Energy is life. We all need it and it’s a source of progress. So today, to contribute to the sustainable development of the planet facing the climate challenge, we are moving forward, together, towards new energies. Energy is reinventing itself, and this energy journey is ours. Our ambition is to be a world-class player in the energy transition. That is why Total is transforming and becoming TotalEnergies.”
