Are you an enthusiastic individual looking for fresh challenges in a forward thinking Highway and Traffic Service? If so, your application is invited for the key post of Principal Engineer Highway Maintenance & Improvements based out of our Civic Centre offices in Keynsham near Bristol.
Working as part of a busy Highway Maintenance and Drainage Team, you will:
- Manage the planning and delivery of annual carriageway and footway resurfacing/surface treatment capital programmes of work.
- Work with colleagues to manage and deliver an innovative and consistent highway asset management approach.
- Integrate with supply chain partners and consultants to ensure timely and cost affective delivery of works.
- Develop a small professional team in effective delivery of annual programmes ensuring engagement with all stakeholders across the all areas.
Being enthusiastic and keen to work and develop a one team approach both within the service and corporately will be essential.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away.
