Potholes can be extremely dangerous to drivers and cyclists alike – and with the combination of an increasing backlog of unrepaired potholes and the cold and wet weather that we have experienced so far in 2021, they are becoming an ever-increasing concern.
Geveko Markings believe that road and surface repair is a necessary means to maintain a safe infrastructure – and therefore have developed a solution to make these kinds of repairs easily accessible.
Using the Pothole Binder system (PHB), means repairing potholes in a swift and durable manner before they turn into larger and more costly maintenance projects – saving both time and money.
PHB is a binder with a strong composition and adhesion to the road surface. The aggregates work as a filler, making it suitable for larger potholes with a general depth of 25 – 60 mm and a maximum of 1m sqm. Together, these two parts make up the Pothole Binder System. Application can take as little as 5-10 minutes, depending on the size of the application area and traffic can usually be re-opened within just 20 minutes.
