We are looking to recruit a Network Permitting Officer to play a key role in the Network Management Team in Highways, whose function it is to ensure all street work activity is planned, inspected, processed and carried out in accordance with regulations.
The post holder will monitor and process permits for activities of public utility companies, the Council and other contractors, in order to ensure that all road works are carried out within the boundaries of strict legal framework.
Decision making is a very important part of this role.
