QMS has been awarded the line marking and stud replacement contract for the M6 Toll, following its successful initial works in 2025 using HyperLine™. The new multi-year agreement reinforces a strong, collaborative relationship with the M6 Toll team, with works for the 2026 scope scheduled for completion by the end of August, and the 2027 phase beginning in March.
The M6 Toll carries over 50,000 vehicles every day, and securing long-term trust on a network of this size is a major milestone. For the 2026 and 2027 scopes, QMS is expanding its specification by introducing EcoRib+™ and ColdMark™ alongside HyperLine™.
Bringing these advanced cold-applied systems to the network delivers tangible upgrades across the board:
- Superior visibility, providing a brighter, clearer marking that guides drivers during night-time driving and severe weather.
- Longer-lasting structural integrity, ensuring the EcoRib+™ profile maintains its shape over time rather than flattening like standard thermoplastic.
- An extended lifespan, cutting down on repeated maintenance visits and reducing lane closures.
- Measurable carbon savings, replacing hot thermoplastic to deliver a significantly lower environmental footprint.
Most importantly, it means a network that keeps guiding families and drivers home safely, whatever the conditions.

The majority of the works will be delivered using our innovative HyperLine™, EcoRib+™ and ColdMark™ systems, all of which have demonstrated exceptional results on comparable schemes, including our successful delivery for Egis on the M40 in 2025.
