We are delighted to announce the appointment of Bill Manby to the LCRIG Advisory Board.
Bill brings more than 32 years of experience in local government, specialising in the strategic management, maintenance and improvement of highway infrastructure across the UK.
In his current role as Head of Highway Maintenance at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Bill leads the authority’s highways maintenance service, overseeing operations across one of the country’s most geographically diverse and predominantly rural authorities.
Prior to joining East Riding, Bill spent over 20 years at City of York Council as Head of Highways and Fleet, leading highways, transport and fleet operations and delivering major infrastructure programmes within the city.
Commenting on his appointment, Bill said:
“Having seen first-hand how LCRIG fosters collaboration between local authorities and industry to drive innovation, deliver value for money and support decarbonisation, I’m delighted to join the Advisory Board. I look forward to working with colleagues across the highways community to further these shared goals and contribute to LCRIG’s continued success.”
Kerry Winstanley, Managing Director at LCRIG, added:
“We are delighted to welcome Bill to the Advisory Board. His extensive experience, leadership and commitment to collaboration and innovation will make him a valuable addition to the board and the wider LCRIG community.”
We look forward to working with Bill in his new role.
