Highway Safety Engineer Role profile
Plymouth City Council are looking for a Highway Safety Engineer to join their Traffic Management Team based at Prince Rock Depot, Plymouth.
Reporting to the Senior Traffic Engineer and supported by the Highway Safety Technician and Road Safety Officer you will lead on detailed collision analysis and the annual collision Investigation and Prevention Review as well as formal road safety audit of highway improvement schemes during design, at the end of construction and through to post-construction.
The post holder will also take a lead role in ensuring that Plymouth Highways processes and procedures are compliant with the Construction Design and Management Regulations and responsibilities and H&S requirements.
