Rennicks Team Return to Barretstown for the 4th Year

The Rennicks team were out in force last week, returning to the wonderful Barretstown camp in beautiful County Kildare for their 4th year of volunteering.

This year’s “Helping Hands” day saw the team swapping office wear for gardening gloves as they took on a variety of ground maintenance tasks. From weeding and clearing to planting and tidying, the team were fully immersed in all things horticulture. A highlight of the day was planting a tree together – a lasting reminder of their visit and a small contribution to the camp’s stunning surroundings.

Founded by actor Paul Newman, Barretstown is a truly remarkable place, giving children and their families living with serious illness a chance to experience joy, respite, and a sense of normality in a safe and supportive environment.

Robert Tait, Sales Director at Rennicks, said: “We feel privileged to play even a small part in supporting such a brilliant retreat. Once again, the team found the experience truly humbling and uplifting. A huge thank you to the Barretstown team for their warm welcome and for everything they do to make this camp such a special place.”
