Saint-Gobain PAM is providing four CPD-accredited training modules to help you keep ahead of ductile iron access cover and gully grating innovation and best practice, as well as non-certified training suitable for your wider workforce.

What to expect:
- General principles – This session provides an overview of the general principles including material composition, manufacturing processes, and common terminology. We will discuss how product features link with the industry standards that govern their design and specification.
- Standards and specification overview and guidance – This session will help you improve your understanding of how specifications are created and the role that European and British standards play. It will also consider the role of the various standards and quality marks associated with ductile iron access covers and gratings, how they are created, audited and disseminated, and what information they contain.
- Access cover and gully grating installation materials, methods and best practice – This session will improve your understanding of the important part correct installation plays in increasing asset durability and reducing whole-life costs. It will also consider the emergence of industry requirements, guidance and standards that aid in material and system selection.
- Sustainability and collaborating towards net zero – This module will help you understand sector requirements and identify opportunities to minimise the environmental impact created during the installation and maintenance of access covers and gully gratings.
