Over the last three years, LCRIG Member, Metis has embarked on a journey to Net Zero to minimise and mitigate their carbon impact. In 2020, they attained ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and B Corp accreditation was awarded in December 2022. This external assessment of Metis as an environmentally and socially conscious organisation has helped them lay the foundation for that journey.
They are pleased to announce that the Board has now set the Metis Net Zero Strategy. The team has assessed their carbon impact and identified areas to target for reduction. The aim is to mitigate as much carbon as they can from all their business activity in Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and then find the best offsetting solutions that align with their business ethos.
As a result, the Metis Board has committed to Net Zero by 2030 and will review and report progress on an annual basis.
